It’s hard to believe it’s already the second week in October.

Where has the Fall gone?

Or shall I say, “Where is it going?”

My September was quite a whirlwind from being a bridesmaid to the Musselman’s Orchard Tour to Expo East to the Dallas Gluten-Free Expo.


Back in Manhattan.

And loving it, obviously.

As many of you know, I’ve gotta soft spot for Musselman’s Applesauce as I’m their brand ambassador on their website and facebook page, creating recipes each month for their viewers to cook n’ bake…

Everything from applesauce to applebutter and beyond.

So, when they asked me to join their Blogger Orchard Tour in Gettysburg I was beyond excited.

I learned so much about how each Musselman’s product is made. Talk about interesting, this was off the charts.  We saw the process from the pretty little apple trees blowing in the wind in the orchard to the factories and the labs to the store shelves.


Quite an incredible process.

Lots of incredibly smart people and lots of very high tech machinery.

A lot goes into those lil’ containers of pretty applesauce.

A whole lot.

It’s a much bigger production that I ever imagined.

And it was Amazing to see firsthand right there, front and center.

Hair net and all.

O yes.

I wore a hair net.

Let’s just hope those pictures aren’t released or you’re in for a real chuckle.

Yes, this is me planting a tree sans the hair net, obviously.

Ya see, the nice Musselman’s folks gave us bloggers a gift.

Our very own apple tree.

And we each did our part in planting it.

Now, we can go back year after year to see our lil’ tree grow to someday make real homemade Musselman’s applesauce.

Pretty neat, huh?

I thought so.

I made great friends with the other bloggers, who were fun and down-to-earth.

And the Musselman’s team was a blast to spend time with.

Especially on the Gettysburg Ghost tour.

It wasn’t as spooky as I thought It’d be but it sure was lots of fun…

Filled with lots of laughs…

Overall, it was a great trip.

Actually it was an Amazing trip.

And quite delicious, I might add.

I feel even more connected to the Musselman’s brand now because I’ve been behind the scenes and heard the real, true story of how they make their famous, homemade applesauce.

    I remember planting some trees with my dad when I was really little. Now, the trees are WAY taller than I am. Such good memories! 🙂
