I promised you a lil’ sneak peak at my favorite Manhattan Gluten-Free hot spots where I love to dine n’ enjoy a safe n’ tasty meal in a fun, relaxed G-Free environment.
Whether you’re livin’ in The Big Apple or visiting for work or vacation, these spots are sure to please your taste buds and keep your belly happy with their gluten-free offerings. Plus, they’re sure to get you out of the ‘touristy’ Manhattan areas and into the true culture and vibe that our delicious city has to offer.

An Upper East Side vegan restaurant offering a delicious, clean menu.
Sister cafe to Candle 79, this cafe is right around the corner on the Upper East Side and offers a family-friendly environment with delicious vegan, clean food choices.
A gluten-free pan-Asian menu offers shrimp tempura and dumplings along with it’s sister restaurant Lilis 57.
An adorable Asian and sushi spot that serves up an amazing Gluten-Free Menu anytime of the day.
With 2 locations, one downtown on the East side and the other in Chelsea Market on the West side, this cozy space offers tasty gluten-free comfort food such as spaghetti n’ meatballs, waffles, fish and chips and fried chicken.
Right across the street from my old apartment down near Gramercy, this corner spot offers yummy gluten-free pasta, raviolis and bread that’s hard to beat.

Another fabulous Gluten Free pizza spot in the heart of Manhattan.
You surely can’t get enough of pizza when in NYC, here’s another hot spot for Gluten Free slices.
Known for their Gluten Free pizza pies, Mozzarelli’s is a tasty spot for a slice of pizza

I have yet to visit this pizza spot, but I’ve been told their Gluten-Free pies are delicious.
A perfect setting in the East Village, this pizzeria has a beautiful ambiance and a splendid Gluten Free pizza.
A great spot to enjoy a dish of their famous mac n’ cheese.
A famous Manhattan landmark, these ‘shacks’ have popped up throughout the city. Be sure to get there with enough time to spare as you’ll be waiting on their famous long line before you get to eat some grub.
I had the pleasure of meeting the fabulous Tu-Lu last year when she opened up this cute little shop in the East Village…I love her chocolate chip cookies and brownies.
This well-known hot spot has an offering of gluten-free baked goods, which are delicious and perfect for a birthday treat or a dessert nibble anytime of the day.
One of my favorite spots, this Gluten Free pizza spot will surely cure your yearning for a hearty slice.
Down on my favorite street, Bleeker, this corner spot is always bustling and busy with Gluten Free folks loving their risotto and other tasty Gluten Free menu items including desserts.
Yet another spot for a Gluten Free slice.
I recently dined at Nizza, which has a great ambiance and is right in the heart of the Theater District for those of you coming into town to see a Broadway show or exploring the Times Square area.
Mario Batalli never goes wrong and this spot has some delicious Gluten Free pizzas and tasty wines as well as a superb Gluten-Free pasta.

Introduced to me by my best gal pal, Kerri, who adores this cute little spot for vegan ice cream. They even have vegan soft serve; yum and yum. Need I say more?
And a few honorable mentions…I’m a huge fan of the beautiful markets of Agata & Valentina on the Upper East Side, Citarella which are located throughout town in various neighborhoods, Dean & Deluca, Marche Madison and of course, The Plaza Food Hall…all of these markets are full of fun, fresh gluten-free fare that I love…everything from fish to vegetables and chicken to fruits… I simply love walking the aisles of these stores. They make me smile, whether I purchase a $10 meatball or a $5 cup o’ tea… it’s worth the experience.
