I’m sure many of you have heard of the movie, “Food Inc”., which opens this Friday, June the 12th.

In “Food Inc.”, filmmaker Robert Kenner shows us the horrors of our nation’s food industry that have sadly been hidden from us, the American consumers with the consent of our government’s regulatory agencies, the USDA and the FDA.  This movie will feature interviews with experts such as Michael Pollan (The Omnivore’s Dilemma), Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation) and many more.  This movie will reveal surprising and shocking truths about what we eat, where it’s produced and the horrifying conditions of our animals.

This movie is going to be a true wake-up-call for many Americans by showing us who we have become as a nation and where we are going from here.

Be sure to watch the trailer.

I know that I will be going to see this movie this weekend, how about you? Do any of you have any interest in seeing this film?

  1. i heard about this movie and really want to go see it! i am not a vegetarian, but i’ve been cutting back my meat intake, thanks to reading mark bittman’s food matters. he touches on the horrors of the food industry. i’ve also read skinny bitch, but i found the authors to be a bit too pushy so they didn’t really influence me to change my eating habits.
