Happy Monday! Who’s in the mood for homemade chocolate chip cookies?
Even if you indulged way too much this past weekend – you’re still going to want to make room in that belly of yours for these babies. They’re fab. Completely fabulous. They will blow your mind and I’m going to teach you how to make chocolate chip cookies the easy way.
I promise.
And they’re super duper easy to make. The best part? NO sugar… NO gluten… NO dairy… NO soy. Can I get a ‘Wahhhhhoooooooooo’ from you?
Hehe.
So, let’s put the cookies on hold for 30 seconds and chat about something, k?
Lately I’ve been thinking….
I feel like throughout my entire life people have judged each other so much no matter where I am or what I’m doing. Whether it was when I played sports and the girls were talking about other amazing players on the other teams and judging them or when I was in high school and others were judging people who were in the not so cool crowd or when I worked at VOGUE and I’d be in a group of people at lunch and a model would walk in the room and everyone would judge her.
Judge judge judge.
Yuck, right?
It’s not that I can say that I’ve never judged anyone because sadly, I have and I did. I was one of the judgers without even realizing I was. Many years ago I did. But I stopped after I started doing work on myself and finding myself and realizing the only reason people judge is because it’s their own insecurities. It’s sad, isn’t it?
I’m pretty vulnerable here on my blog because I want to be honest. To be real. To be Amie.
And I am.
I’m not trying to put on a front like I’m some fabulous thaaaaang or some stylish Manhattan gal who’s whipping up gluten-free cookies everyday….
My secret is this: I don’t judge myself as I create my blog posts and recipes and content. I just let my brain dump and I release a bunch of ideas and thoughts that are on my mind to share with all of you.
Each week I put myself out there to all of you regardless of my imperfections. I’m not perfect. But I want to share my honest story and the process I’ve taken to heal myself. My goal is to inspire you to do your best and live the life you want- not the life someone else wants you to live and not the life having Western medicine rule your life. Because, well, that’s not a life at all.
I’m willing to share myself with you every.single.week. And I’m always willing to be honest about everything as long as I add value to your life. Hopefully I do. Because at the end of the day- I do this for all of YOU.
Sending you all hugs!

These look amazing!! I have all the indgredients so Im making them soon!
These look delightful and perfect for the holidays! I have a nut-allergic kid so I would replace the almond butter with coconut butter (this has worked for us in other recipes). These are a treat I could feel happy about feeding to my boys.
I really would love to try these they look really good. The almond butter is interested, I’m excited to try baking with it!
These look so amazing! I’m having a get together Sunday and will definitely be making these…YUM!!! 🙂
BeYoutiful 🙂 xx
Love almond butter and you can do so much with it. Thanks for the chance to get a free jar. Are rolled oats and old fashion oats the same? I will be trying this recipe this weekend.
These look so good!!!
Yum!! These sound amazing. Can’t wait to make them with my daughter. 🙂
these look fantastic!! miss you, friend 😉 hope to see you soon!
I am wondering about something. We buy whole oats and have a roller mill and roll them ourselves. The mill is only used for oats. Are they safe/gluten-free? While I’m not entirely gluten-free, I was thinking about making these for a celiac relative. Thanks.
Cookies sound quite yummy! Also I posting for a chance to win some almond butter 😉 thank you for all u do!
I think I will make these without the chips!
love this recipe and I have all the ingredients on hand. looks like i know what the kids will b having for afterschool snack today! 🙂
(also this is an entry for the almond butter giveaway. thanks for the chance)
Can’t wait to try these. All my favorite ingredients, including Almond Butter!! I would leave out the stevia or sub in a touch of honey. I don’t use sweeteners other than honey or maple syrup. Otherwise thsese look fantastic.
Thanks for ANOTHER great recipe! I’m betting my
family will love these. Have a great day 🙂
Submitting my entry for the almond butter give-away. LOVING this cookie recipe!!! Gluten free, soy free, sugar free…. you’re speaking my language!!!
How healthy! I’m doing another cleanse, so these would fit right in.
I don’t really like the taste of stevia or should I say the after taste of stevia. Can I leave the sweetener out all together? Or could you suggest something else?
Have a Great day!!
Thanks,
Maria Whitas
Try NuNaturals Stevia or Stevia in the Raw- SO much better than the other flavors. Or leave it out completely or try Xylitol. Hope that helps!
These look great, and I can’t wait to make them! One question about the nutritional info though. I can’t figure out how there are 14g of fat in each one if the only sources are 2 servings of almond butter, a scant tsp of coconut, and just a couple tbsps of cacoa nibs. Just wanted to make sure I’m not missing any ingredients! Thanks!
This is correct because 2 Tbsp. of nut butter is 14g of fat. Does that make sense?
Seriously loving visiting your site lately… and you’ve pointed out Jennifer Kass to me, whose insta pics have been brightening my days too. Sometimes (oftentimes) it seems far too wishful to believe you can be loving and happy and things will work out but ladies like you are proving it… because I feel the positivity from you and want nothing more than for you to receive more straight back <3
