I have recently been contacted by Stonyfield to create some tasty recipes using their delicious yogurt.  I am a huge fan of Stonyfield’s Oikos Greek yogurt and my family loves the Stonyfield plain yogurt, as well.  Over the next week, I will be posting 5 of my favorite Stonyfield yogurt recipes…they’re perfect for this holiday season and a sure taste-bud pleaser so be sure to keep checking in over the next two weeks for my tasty and healthy Stonyfield recipes.

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 large ripe zucchini, shaved

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

What a delicious combination of flavors, and a great use of Stonyfield yogurt! I’m adding this bread to my “to make” list.

Hey, congrats on the recipe request!! I’ll have to try this bread. I’ve had zucchini beads before but I’ll see how I like this one. It sounds really good. Plus I’ve pretty much loved most of the things you’ve posted so far!!

i am looking for a loaf recipe like this, however, i do not eat white granular sugar or all purpuse white flour. I am surprised none of your recipes would include healthier substitutes for these.

Thank you for your comment, Lin. Although this recipe does not include substitutes for white granular sugar or white flour, many of my other recipes include sweeteners such as stevia, agave nectar, molasses, dark chocolate and raw cacao as well as whole wheat, whole grain and gluten-free flours. Please search my blog for these tasty recipes and I hope you find one that you enjoy! Have an enjoyable evening.

Best,

Amie
