It’s been a whirlwind of a June.

But it’s been pretty delicious and fun.

I’m off to California this week to play in the test kitchens with Thermador.

But I had to share with you a few of my favorite photos from my Tree Top Apple Juice press trip in Washington last week.

I was asked to join the Tree Top team for two days at Lake Chelain – it was absolutely breathtaking.

And I highly recommend visiting if you are near the Seattle area.

Talk about beautiful- I felt like I was in Switzerland but everyone spoke English.

Hehe.

The weather was amazing.

The food was delicious.

The dining room was out-of-this-world. I mean, seriously- this was like ‘wedding’ material.

The people were fabulous.

My toes were happy. I think it’s becoming a ritual that I snap a pic of my toes on every trip. I’m still pale- no sun tan yet on these Manhattan toes.

I learned a whole bunch about how Tree Top makes its apple juice and grows their pretty lil’ apples.

And I got to touch the little baby apples, too.

We even got a private tour of a beautiful vineyard right on the lake where we had dinner made from fresh fruits, vegetables and edible flowers grown on the property.

There certainly weren’t any yellow Manhattan cabs here- just fresh air and apples and wine.

Thank you Tree Top for a wonderful getaway. I’m already cookin’ up some recipes with the Tree Top Apple Juice and Apple Sauce..just in time for the Fourth of July BBQ.

  3. Beautiful. Great weather! Amie – how do you manage to stay in track with healthy eating whilst traveling so much? Is it difficult?

    1. Thanks Jen; it’s been pretty good traveling because I find a Whole Foods Market or healthy food store and stock up my fridge in my hotel room with avocados and veggies and lean proteins such as Greek plain yogurt, organic turkey and eggs.

  4. Hey Aime, wonderful pictures, thanks for sharing and there is no tan to my Paris toes either yet 😉
