  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the onion quarters on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with the oil. Use your hands to rub the oil on the onions to coat the onions entirely. Sprinkle the onions with sea salt and pepper and roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until they're tender and golden brown.
  2. Meanwhile, steam the green beans in a medium steamer basket in a medium sized pot over medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until the green beans are bright green and tender but not too soft. Remove from the heat; rinse them with cold water and set aside. Dry them with a paper towel if needed.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the roasted onions, steamed green beans, orange segments, avocado, scallion, walnuts, parsley and orange zest. Set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk the tahini with the water, orange juice, maple syrup, ginger and garlic. Pour over the salad and toss to combine.
  5. Serve immediately.
