Ingredients
  • 1 head Swiss chard chopped and stems finely chopped
  • 2 large honey crisp apples very thinly sliced
  • 3 Tbsp. raw walnuts
  • 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
  • Juice of 1 large orange
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. tahini sesame seed paste
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. avocado oil or extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
  • pinch crushed red pepper flakes to taste
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, toss the Swiss chard, apples, walnuts, quinoa and parlsey.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the remaining ingredients and drizzle over the Swiss chard mixture. Season to taste with the sea salt and pepper. Use less orange juice if you'd like less of a sweet taste. Toss the salad to combine and serve immediately.
