Combine the maple syrup or honey, Glogg, water, and bring to a boil in a medium saucepan.
Meanwhile, slice one of the apples into 1/2 inch pieces (large dice). Slice the other apple into 4 large slices. Slice the pear into 4 large slices. Set aside.
When the liquid is boiling, lower the heat to a simmer and add the orange peel, orange segments, cinnamon sticks, ground cinnamon, cardamom, apples and pears and cover. In a pot on the stove top for 30 minutes or until the apples and pears are very tender. Remove the apples, pears and oranges with a slotted spoon. Discard any other pieces and transfer the liquid to small saucepan and simmer until it becomes thick over medium-high heat, about 20 minutes. The liquid will form a thick reduction.
In a large shallow bowl, add the pears and apples, drizzle with the reduction and top with yogurt and fresh mint. (Use the oranges for another use or add to yogurt for breakfast the next day!) Serve immediately.
