I’m excited to share the best toothpaste for whitening that I recently discovered. This Tom’s of Maine Luminous White™ is made without artificial colors, flavors, fragrances or preservatives and it’s gluten-free. Today I’m sharing what I discovered from my two week trial with this new whitening toothpaste. Let me show you what it’s all about!
When Tom’s of Maine reached out to me last month to try their new Luminous White™ toothpaste, I thought “YES, please”. Luminous White™ is their most advanced whitening toothpaste ever.
I’m always on the lookout for a new toothpaste because oral health is so incredibly important to me. As many of us don’t realize, the health of your mouth contributes greatly to your overall health – everything is connected, folks. One of the first things I address with each of my private clients is the subject of their oral health and I’m constantly offering them suggestions for the best toothpaste for whitening.
Here I am at the end of my two week journey with this new toothpaste (aka, the best toothpaste for whitening, in my opinion) and I am honestly amazed at how wonderful, fresh and clean my mouth feels. I used this toothpaste 2x a day (once in the morning after breakfast and once at night before bed) and I noticed a drastic change from my regular toothpaste that I’ve been using the last few years. For starters, my teeth are super white and shiny. They look like I just had a cleaning at the dentist! Pretty cool.
My gums and overall oral health have also improved. My gums aren’t bleeding like they used to and my entire mouth feels fresher and healthier. This was a win-win experience and I’m really happy I decided to take on this 2 week challenge.
I’ve used Tom’s of Maine products throughout the last few years when I started detoxing my cleaning products, personal care products and food from chemicals as I discuss in depth in my best-selling book, Eating Clean: The 21-Day Plan to Detox, Fight Inflammation, and Reset Your Body.
Like me, Tom’s of Maine believes that natural products are better for our body and the environment. They get it! This is why you’ll never find potentially harmful ingredients in their products and why they never test their ingredients or products on animals. They’ve been a trusted name in the natural world for over 47 years, which means they’re the real deal.
If you’re like me and constantly on the lookout for a clean product that doesn’t contain artificial colors and fragrances or preservatives, this is your new best friend. Check it out in stores nationwide. You can also find this new whitening toothpaste at Whole Foods Market.
If you try this toothpaste, let me know what you think.
Enjoy!
xx
Fluoride?! Really? Also Xylitol. I am surprised by this recommendation!! I used Tom’s for years until I found out about some of the ingredients. I now use a prebiotic toothpaste with amazing results.
Edie,
I use the Tom’s Toothpaste without fluoride and xylitol. I do not eat or use either of those ingredients! xx
I currently use Jason peppermint toothpaste, but plan to try this next – thanks for the post. Extra thanks for such a great offer to WF !
Hi Amie! I have used a lot of Toms products. My family likes them. We use the toothpaste without Fluoride though. I have to tell you, I am reading your Eating clean book as we speak. I’m excited to try recipes.
Thanks Amy.
Of course; my pleasure. Have a lovely night! xx
You lost me at the fluoride. I use Tom’s now but without fluoride. I was a little surprised that your recommended this. Fluoride is not good for you. I have sat on committees to have it banned from our city water. Please reconsider your recommendation on this toothpaste.
Hi Kathy, I use the fluoride-free from Toms. Hope that helps! xxx
I love the products from Tom’s Of Maine. I’m actually currently using the same toothpaste and it has improve my gums and teeth since I have been using it for about 3 -4 weeks.
I love Tom’s products!
Fluoride is a known endocrine disruptor and blocks the ability for the thyroid to uptake iodine-a necessary mineral for proper thyroid function. Please don’t promote products that are not safe or fully natural without knowing the facts.
Lisa,
They sell products without fluoride so you can use those, which I do!
I love products from Tom’s of Maine, and I hadn’t noticed the Luminous White! Ohhhhh, I’m excited to try it! I love that feeling when you have had your teeth cleaned and also it has been nice for the gums, too. I love zeroing in on favorites, I’m psyched this going to be a fav among favs! It should be a big hit! Fun challenge!
I thought fluoride was not a healthy ingredient in water or toothpaste. How do you justify using it in this toothpaste?
Thanks for answering.
Hi Kathleen,
You can use their fluoride-free products, which I do as well!
Hi Amy! This post is dear and dear to my heart. I am an RDH and have spent the last 2 months cleaning up my home and body care products, but still agonizing over the toothpaste options. I appreciate the recommendation! Also LOVE Whole Foods giveaways! Woot! Thanks:) Jen
Love Tom’s! I’ve used Tom’s toothpaste, but haven’t tried the luminous white one yet!
Thank you Diana; you are the winner. Please email me at Press@TheHealthyApple.com with your mailing address. xx
Love Tom’s and Whole Foods!!! I mean, what there’s no to??? 😊
Love Tom’s and have used them for years! Does this whitening toothpaste come in a version without the flouride?
