It all started with a bag of almonds.

Then, I ran out of almond butter.

So, I simply whipped out my food processor, cleaned out my old jar of nut butter and created a masterpiece.

Right in my very kitchen.

There’s a first time for everything.

And now, I’m on a Nut Butter kick.


A spoonful or two to taste…and it was perfect.

Then, into a clean nut butter jar.

And you’re all set.

Easy as pie.

But simply without the gluten…


Almond Butter Dip

Gluten-Free and Vegan

Serves 4


  • 1/4 cup silken tofu
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1 tsp. agave nectar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/6 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. flax seeds
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt


  1. In a food processor, combine all ingredients; pulse until smooth.
  2. Transfer to serving dishes. Serve with crudites, gluten-free crackers or on sandwiches. Store in a sealed container in the fridge.

  1. Yummmmm looks great. I see flax in there is that sea salt? and Almonds is that the entire recipe? should I roast the Almonds first. Sorry I am quite new with the clean foods. I cannot find the recipe should I just wing it and see what happens.

    1. Yes, those are flax seeds and sea salt. You can use ground flax seeds to make it easier for you. No apologies; I’m happy to help anytime. Have a great night!!

  4. Beautiful! I’ve been wanting to make nut butter ever since my parents gave me a food processor for my birthday. I’m out of town right now but as soon as I get home some nuts are gonna get chopped up good 🙂
