Dirty Dozen

Heard the term thrown around but not quite sure what it means? Yes, it is as scary as it sounds! The “Dirty Dozen” refers to commonly consumed fruits and vegetables sprayed with the most pesticides– hence, “dirty”. I’ve provided a list of the “cleanest” and “dirtiest” produce so you know when to buy organic and when you can purchase conventional. I eat 100% organic 100% of the time, but I know that’s pricey and not always plausible. Keep this list on hand (save it to your phone!) so that you don’t have to second-guess yourself at the grocery store and check out EWG.org for the latest list each year so you can stay on top of your health.
