It’s that time of year when we’re all about giving thanks. Right now I’m thankful to be alive after Hurricane Sandy tore apart my city and my hometown at the shore.

Well, we should be all about givin’ thanks all the time but it seems that everyone starts to take notice of what they’re truly thankful for this time of the year.

And so I thought I’d share a few of mine.

Well, actually maybe just one.

My sister.

And so, with that I leave you with pictures of Aly and I from 1985-2005- 20 years of memories.

The ones that made me smile.

And tear up.

And laugh.

And so, now you know- the shining star in my life is my sis.

xo, BB.

I love you.

And NYC I love you, too. Together, we will heal from Hurricane Sandy and give thanks that we are alive.

  2. What great photos! I, too, love the first one… but it’s so wonderful that you are safe, that you have the photos, and that you two sisters are such best (and beautiful, I might add) buds. 🙂 How sweet for you to honor your sister in this way.
